Our Story
So you want to know more about us, eh?
At The LastTable, we believe that everybody goes through hardships in life. During these tough times, we have a tendency to put our hope into things like money, status, and other people - thinking that this will make us feel happier, or give us purpose. However, in our individual life journeys, we each came to realize that these things ultimately do not last and cannot guarantee fulfillment of life. Instead, we found hope through the Good News we heard that gives us a "last-able" joy regardless of our circumstances. We want to share this Good News with you!
What's The LastTable?
A play on words, The LastTable is a space we are cultivating to be sustainable, long lasting, last-able. We are building a community at our table that supports each other through the tough times, takes environmental stewardship seriously, and experiences a last-able joy together. We want our table to be the most hospitable environment for visitors to make memories cherished for a lifetime.
Why a Cafe?
As cafes have always been a place of discovery, dialogue, and meaningful interaction, we want to invite everyone to experience a community that models the hope founded on the Good News. We believe that by having an open posture & neutral space, we can inspire our visitors to persevere through hardships because they too, experience a God who is with them.
